  3. Because the recombinator sees one exclusive mod (Puhuarte) and one invalid native mod (the Strength), there is a high statistical probability of keeping the Puhuarte mod on the target base.
  4. Once the mod is on the correct base, use a Fracturing Orb. if the fracture misses, reset the base and repeat the transfer.

  5. Probability Logic: By using a 2-prefix vs. 2-prefix setup where one prefix is invalid on the target base, you create a roughly 96% chance to preserve the rare mod. If you lose the 50/50 on the base, you keep the mods and can try again.
  6. Final Isolation: Once the mod is on the high-iLevel base, use Eldritch currency to annul any unwanted mods, leaving only the Esh prefix.

Fracturing Rare Bases

Once the Esh mod is on an iLevel 86 Necrotic Armour:

  1. Add suffixes until the item has four mods total.
  2. Use a Fracturing Orb (1 in 4 chance).
  3. If the fracture hits the Esh mod, the base is worth approximately 120 Divine Orbs.
  4. If the fracture misses, you can sometimes “break” the fracture by recombining with more suffixes, though this is inconsistent.

Finishing the Body Armor

For a fractured Esh mod Necrotic Armour:

  1. Prefixes: Spam Dense Fossils until hitting Tier 1 or Tier 2 Evasion and Energy Shield.
  2. Suffixes: Use Eldritch Embers/Ichors to manipulate suffixes. Use Eldritch Chaos, Exalts, and Annuls to hunt for Tier 1 Spell Suppression and high Resistance.
  3. Quality: Use Tailoring Orbs for “8% increased Defense modifiers.” Note that this significantly increases attribute requirements, which may need to be divined or balanced.
  4. Final Linking: Use the crafting bench for six sockets and then link the item. A finished chest with these stats can be listed for 280+ Divine Orbs.
