This is the highest investment strategy in the league. It relies on massive mob density to drop high-value items like Hinekora’s Locks. It is highly polarizing; if you cannot run a high volume of maps, the variance may be too punishing.

Empowered Legion

Combine the Treasure Scarab with the Eternal Conflict Scarab. In Mirage areas, Legions can become Affrad Legions, which drop new, highly lucrative incubators.

  • Note: Avoid this strategy if playing a damage-over-time or proliferation build, as it is currently bugged for those archetypes.

Awakened Boss Rush

A consistent supply-side farm focusing on:

  • Chisels and Astrolabes: High demand for map juicing.
  • Multi-divine maps: Rare but significant drops.
  • Maven Influence: Guaranteed 40–50 Chaos in map value consistently.

Empowered Catalysing Ultimatum

Focuses on farming Mirage-exclusive catalysts. This requires high map quantity and an exceptionally tanky build capable of handling juiced eight-mod maps.

Empowered Essences

A speed-mapping strategy that takes advantage of the low Atlas investment required for Essences.

  • Add-ons: Combine with Delirium (for Refracting Fogs) and Heist (for Enchanted Blueprints).
  • Flexibility: Can also include Beyond or Ambush without slowing down map clear.

Beyond/Delirium Boss Rushing

A “clever cook” strategy designed to spawn two Delirium bosses and three Beyond bosses per map.

  1. Use specific scarabs to force boss spawns.
  2. Use Breach as a “catalyst” to trigger Beyond portals.
  3. Farm Refracting Fogs and Volatile Valorbs.

Ambush (Low and High Investment)

  • Low Investment: Run Haunted Mansion, rush strongboxes, and open the Mirage area to find Operative’s Strongboxes for easy scarabs.
  • High Investment: Uses the Containment Scarab and Maven’s Scarab Chisel on full Mirage maps to guarantee massive scarab returns.

Ethereal Scarab Farming

Best performed on “Tier 16.5” linear maps (like Crater) where the Mirage area covers most of the layout. While nerfed compared to previous leagues, it remains the top scarab-per-map strategy.

Divination Card Farming

Currently centered on the Damnation card in Crimson Township.

  • Rule of Thumb: If the Damnation card is 5–6x the price of The Apothecary, scry Crimson Township. (Currently, it is roughly 30x the price).

Inscribed Ultimatum

Consistent Divine Orb income through farming and the vendor recipe.

  1. Collect five Inscribed Ultimatums of the same tier.
  2. Identify tier by the “% more monster life” modifier (e.g., 200% is Tier 0/1).
  3. Vendor 5-to-1 to receive a rare Inscribed Ultimatum back.

Cornucopia Harvest & Calcification Essences

  • Harvest: High lifeforce prices driven by end-of-league gambling and astrolabe flipping.
  • Essences: High demand for Wailing/Weeping essences (specifically Doubt) for recombinator crafting.

Nightmare Boss Rushing

Focuses on farming Uber fragments. While quantity may no longer significantly affect fragment drops, the demand for Uber access keeps this in S-tier.

A-Tier: Strong and Specialized Strategies

Breach Fortress Farming

A high-difficulty farm for Hiveblood, fractured bases, and Full-born Exalted orbs.

  • Optimization: If too difficult, remove Incensed Swarm Scarabs and replace them with Monstrous Lineage.

Vessel’d Ritual

High tribute yields from using Blood-filled Vessels. If an altar spawns in a Mirage area, it provides the tribute equivalent of four altars. This strategy is a “jackpot” farm for power/frenzy charge rings.

Big Boom Expedition

Highly recommended for Poison or Bleed builds.

  • Difficulty: 5-star difficulty for hit builds, but 2-star for DoT builds.
  • New Scarab: Increases the value of logbooks significantly.
