- Spirit: Confirm you have 100 base Spirit (excluding bonuses from gear or implicits).

- Boss Spawns: When searching for the Ignak-Duk (Spirit quest), the boss frequently spawns in the top-right or right corner of the map. Checking these corners first can save significant time.
- Act 3 “Horny Boss”: Be cautious of the Gorilla boss in Act 3, as it deals heavy physical damage and can one-shot players.
- Attribute vs. Resistance Tattoos: In the Halls of the Dead, choose Resistance Tattoos. Because the standard skill tree provides ample opportunities to select attributes (Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity) on small passive nodes, elemental resistances are more valuable and harder to cap early in a league.
- Interlude Acts (Kimah): The choice made here is flexible. While 15% Global Defenses is often recommended as best-in-slot, players can return later to change this choice if desired.
Benches & Essential Items
- Salvaging Bench: Found in Ogham Village (Act 1). Locate the tools in the area to unlock this in town.
- Reforging Bench: Found in the Molten Vault (Act 3). Defeat the area boss to unlock this in town.
- Guaranteed Lesser Jeweler’s Orb: At the start of Act 3 in the Sunswept Marsh, check the top or bottom corners of the map. Defeat the two rare monsters guarding a specific basket/chest to receive a guaranteed Lesser Jeweler’s Orb, which is vital for upgrading main skills early.
Unique Farming: Elder Madogs
