  • Multiple bug fixes address issues with Mirage Wishes pack spawns, Harvest bosses, and encounter-breaking mechanics in the Nightmare of Lycia and Nightmare of Uhtred fights.

Mirage League Mechanics and Combat Transitions

A significant update is arriving for the Mirage league during its third week. This patch focuses on sustaining momentum when entering Mirage areas.

  • Buff Persistence: Several buff effects now transition with the player into combat areas, similar to how temporary minions behave. This includes:
    • Rage
    • Fortify
    • Most Charges
    • Shrines (Note: The Evolving Shrine from the Domination Scarab of Evolution is a deliberate exception to prevent potential balance exploits within Mirages).
  • Mirage Entry Safety: To prevent being immediately swarmed upon the expiration of the grace period, moving for the first time after entering a Mirage triggers a powerful shockwave that stuns nearby enemies.
    • Warning: Hardcore players must be cautious of maps with the “Monsters cannot be stunned” modifier, as this shockwave will fail, potentially leading to lethal situations.
  • Wishes and Spawns:
    • A fix has been implemented for Wishes that add extra monster packs. Previously, some packs spawned outside Mirage boundaries and were wasted; they will now correctly spawn all intended packs.
    • Specific Mirage spawn locations in the City Square map that were causing “bricked” encounters have been removed.
    • The Astral Touch modifier now features special font coloring for better visibility.

Labyrinth and Item Improvements

  • Divine Font Correction: When using a Dedication to the Goddess in an enhanced Labyrinth trial, trying to use the Divine Font on an imbued gem (e.g., gems with built-in support from a Coin of Skill) previously gave a confusing error message claiming the gem was corrupted. The text has been corrected to accurately reflect why the gem is ineligible.
  • Transfusion Support: Added reminder text clarifying that the gem prioritizes the closest minion not currently at maximum souls. This is a tooltip clarification only; the mechanics remain unchanged.

Atlas and UI Quality of Life

Several changes affect the core game experience across all leagues:

  • Map Tier Highlighting: Hovering over or holding a map while viewing the Atlas now causes all nodes of that same map tier to highlight with a white glow. This simplifies checking completion progress for specific tiers.
  • Chaos and Exalted Orb Swapping: While using Chaos Orbs, you can now hold Alt to instantly switch to using Exalted Orbs. This is particularly useful for efficiently exalting maps and invitations in the current economy.
  • Unique Map Completion: Unique maps will no longer show completion or bonus objective status when holding the advanced mod description key (Alt). Players must now check the Atlas directly for this information.
  • Atlas Navigation Fixes:
    • Atlas nodes in far corners (such as certain Tier 17 maps or Uber Pinnacle bosses) that were unhoverable after unlocking Voidstones are now fixed.
    • Memory Threads: Itemized Memory Threads from Eagon now provide more informative error messages when applied to invalid Atlas nodes.
  • Visual Polish:
    • The pulsing blue effect on uncompleted unique maps will stop once any 10 unique maps are completed.
    • The Map Device will no longer display influence buttons for unique maps that cannot be influenced.
    • Kirac’s Invitation UI has been cleaned up to remove irrelevant Maven, Eater, and Exarch influence buttons.

General Bug Fixes

  • Boss and Encounter Fixes:
    • Harvest Bosses: Fixed an issue where vine phases could last indefinitely; they are now capped at 40 seconds.
    • Nightmare of Lycia: Fixed a bug where Shaper “time stops” could brick the encounter in the Sanctuary map.
    • Nightmare of Uhtred: Fixed a major bug in the Citadel map where the mirror beam array lacked its intended gap, making the fight nearly impossible without extreme movement speed.
    • Incarnation of Dread: Fixed issues where the boss left invisible fire DoT areas or spawned additional chilled ground after death in The Feared invitation.
  • Technical and Combat Fixes:
    • Misty Reflection: This Delirious bloodline skill can no longer be repeated, as it previously caused permanent character invisibility and skill lockouts.
    • Legacy of the Rose: This unique staff now correctly generates Remembrance charges after entering boss rooms.
    • Scarab Compatibility: Scarab of Interference and Horned Scarab of Awakening now function together correctly.
    • Vaal Impurities: Fixed a bug where these were not applying their buffs to the player.
    • Spectres: Fixed Serpent Warrior Spectres failing to use skills when in a defensive stance.
    • Controller Support: Players using controllers can now correctly toggle Eldritch influence at Eagon’s map device.
  • Visual/Text Fixes:
    • Corrected the description for the Harvest weapon range craft.
    • Fixed a bug where “Area is Corrupted” was missing from the mod list on corrupted maps.
    • Resolved three client crashes, including one specific to macOS.

Market PSA: Iron Flasks

There has been a massive price surge for Iron Flasks. To capitalize on this, filter for:

  1. Item Level 84 or higher.
  2. Non-corrupted status.
  3. Non-unique rarity.

These are primarily found from Expedition-exclusive monsters and are currently in high demand for several popular builds requiring four of them.
