Preparing the Bases and Quality

Select Manifold Ring bases that are not corrupted, mirrored, or fractured. Once the bases are acquired, apply catalysts to increase quality. This is essential before using essences to ensure the highest possible stat rolls. In this case, 20% quality is applied using catalysts relevant to life or damage modifiers.

Essence Slamming for Tier 1 Life

The goal of this stage is to hit a Tier 1 (T1) Life roll while maintaining the Essence of Delirium modifier (Damage over Time Multiplier).

  1. Apply Essence of Delirium to the Manifold Ring.
  2. Repeat until T1 Life appears.
  3. Note that the Manifold Ring’s implicit and the catalyst bonus can make lower-tier life rolls look like T1 at a glance; verify the actual tier of the roll.
  4. Ignore “dead” stats like flat physical damage, energy shield, or mana, as these will hopefully be shifted to negative values during the mirroring process.

On the first ring, a T1 Life roll was achieved quickly without any unwanted rarity modifiers. On the second ring, after several attempts including T2 and T7 misses, T1 Life was successfully hit.

Reviewing the Pre-Mist Rings

Before moving to the Reflecting Mist, the two rings stand as:

  • Ring 1: 173 Life (including modifiers), 15% Damage over Time Multiplier, and various irrelevant stats (mana, flat physical, energy shield).
