Bow Campaign Performance and Mechanics

Bows currently offer one of the slower campaign experiences compared to other archetypes. There is a perceived need for bow-specific buffs to bring them in line with other weapon classes.

To effectively utilize a bow build like Ice Shot, several mechanical layers must be integrated:

  • Ice Shot: Primary elemental attack.
  • Freeze: Crowd control and defensive layer.
  • Marks: Debuffs applied to specific targets to increase damage or utility.
  • Snipe: A high-damage charged shot often used for single-target encounters.

Combat Demonstration and “Combo” Playstyle

Despite using gear described as “mid” or mediocre, the damage output remains surprisingly high. The build functions as a “combo build,” relying on the sequential application of skills to dispatch bosses and high-health enemies. By chaining Marks and Freeze mechanics into high-damage windows (such as Snipe), the character can effectively “combo” targets to death.
