Juiced Boss Rushing is My New Favorite Atlas Mapping Strat in 3.28 PoE Highlights #7 Mirage

Summary

  • Analysis of “Juiced Boss Rushing” strategy in Path of Exile and its profitability.
  • Gameplay mechanics including Trauma stacking interactions with Echoing Shrines.
  • Observations on item drops, including Fracturing Orbs, Exalted Orbs, and Aegis Aurora.
  • Discussion regarding the Kingsmarch mapping system and mapper efficiency.
  • High-level bossing performance against Uber Maven and the limitations of specific build defenses.

Professional Intelligence and Streamer Drama

Nosebleeds are surprisingly useful for clearing out the sinuses; the way blood clumps together allows you to pull the clots through the back of the throat and out the nose, which is satisfying in a weird way. It’s almost like a “Two Broke Girls” situation, or whatever that old shock video was called.

Reflecting on career paths after streaming, it’s clear that many jobs—like programming—don’t actually require the high level of intelligence people assume. Most people in those fields are idiots. Being too smart can actually be a hindrance. Success usually just comes down to whether or not you are willing to do the work, regardless of IQ.

Regarding the community, I’m surprised the situation with “standing with Lance” didn’t get more traction or last longer. A certain streamer accidentally left their broadcast on while… enjoying themselves… to audio of Lance in the background. It was likely a genuine mistake, and you have to have iron skin to come back from a public blunder like that.

Mapping Visuals and Mechanics

I really dislike the gray-scale aesthetic of Delirium. I wish Path of Exile handled Delirium visuals more like Torchlight does. On the bright side, seeing splinters drop feels rewarding. I recently had a Maven invitation pack die so fast I didn’t even see the enemies.

The Sirus influence in this boss rushing strategy is incredibly “troll.” The walls he creates frequently get me stuck and block movement entirely. On the loot side, Conqueror maps are aesthetically pleasing; they look like little pieces of candy you’d get from a gumball machine.

There seems to be an issue with map tab affinities. I swear you used to be able to set map affinities on two different tabs, but currently, it doesn’t seem to allow for double-affinity placement.

Tangents and Trauma Stacking

I wonder if Smart Cars are even still in production. The concept of a gas-powered “Smart Car” with 30-inch tires and performance exhaust is an oxymoron. Also, if a three-wheeled bike is a “trike,” a two-wheeled one should logically be a “dike.”

In terms of gameplay mechanics, the Echoing Shrine is actually detrimental for Trauma stacking builds. Each hit during an Echoing Shrine sequence doesn’t count as an individual trauma stack until the echoes are finished. Some players might use it specifically to keep their stacks lower and stay alive, but it generally hampers the build’s scaling.

Certain league mechanics have frustrating loot delays. Some mobs have the longest wait time before dropping loot—sometimes up to 15 seconds after they’ve been cleared.

Kingsmarch Mappers and Rare Drops

I’ve been on a roll calling Exalted Orb drops today, going two for two. Hardcore trade seems to be active right now with some big sales. My current build is restricted to using only life flasks, which limits utility but works for the setup.

I’m confused by Connor’s (Connor Converse) persona lately. I can’t tell if he’s being serious or if he’s doing a bit similar to Quin69’s “better builds” routine. Meanwhile, my Kingsmarch mappers are failing maps constantly. Having only two mappers left makes me wonder if they are linked together or if multiple mappers are dying simultaneously now.

Uber Bossing and Build Limits

I might need to reconsider my defensive layers for this strategy. Using Grace is likely a good idea, but it’s only effective if you have actual evasion gear to back it up. I realized my auras were off for a bit, which explains some of the squishiness.

I finally dropped an Aegis Aurora and an Ephemeral Edge—the latter being quite valuable. I also encountered what I think was a Templar Astralobe (or “Astral-ape”) effect.

When it comes to Ubers:

  1. Uber Maven: I still delete her easily. She feels much easier than the Gauntlet version of the fight.
  2. Uber Uber Elder: This fight is perfectly fine for my current setup.
  3. Uber Exarch: I can’t do this one because of my Specter’s survivability, even though my totems are okay.
  4. Uber Eater of Worlds: I avoid this due to a lack of evasion.
  5. Cortex: Not worth the effort; the fight is “dogshit.”

On a final note, I saw a post from Chuck Norris saying “I don’t age.” Given his current appearance, that statement definitely did not age well. Also, look at my Frost Shield—it’s tiny.
