  1. Unlocking Points: To unlock the full Atlas, defeat the boss in the center (Second Arbiter, Origin of Tower) five times while clicking every zone, or complete every map within the area.
  2. Locating the Boss: Search the outskirts of your Atlas for unique citadels associated with this boss.
  3. Passive Tree Strategy: Prioritize “natural juice” nodes that increase the number of rare monsters, magic pack size, and general pack size.
    • Rogue Exiles: Essential for Abyss farming; take all available nodes to increase spawn chances, as they are a primary source of high-value jewels.
    • Tablets: Maximize Tablet effect nodes to improve map modifiers.
    • Other Preferences: Once core juice and Exile nodes are taken, the remaining points can be allocated to personal preferences like Essence or Strongboxes.

Abyss Farming Strategies

The core of the currency farming revolves around two distinct Abyss-focused approaches:

1. The “Umon” Strategy (Easier/Consistent)

  • Focus: Raw currency and general drops.
  • Execution: Select the Umon node and the node that scatters Abyss pits throughout the area. This setup frequently spawns currency chests within the Abyss, making it a very low-effort, high-consistency method.

2. The “Amonimous” Strategy (Advanced/High Reward)

  • Focus: Rare drops and Omens (e.g., Omen of Light, Bissel Echoes).
  • Execution: Select the Amonimous node and increase effectiveness for each closed pit (up to 100%).
  • Important Tactic: Amonimous rares spawn a darkness cloud. To maximize drop quality, pull the monsters out of the cloud and kill them in the open area.
  • Requirement: This strategy makes enemies significantly tankier; ensure your character is well-geared to handle tier-15, six-mod maps.

Tablet Setup and Sustenance

  • Modifiers: Prioritize any modifier that adds “juice” to the map, such as increased rarity, monster effect, or additional rares.
  • Sustain Issues: Currently, sustaining Abyss tablets is difficult. It is recommended to use one Abyss tablet alongside a combination of other mechanics (such as Ritual or Daily missions) to fill out your map runs if you run out of Abyss-specific items.
  • Jewel Farming: The “Heart of the Well” jewel is a major profit source. Farming Rogue Exiles within Abyss encounters significantly increases the chances of these dropping.
